Koksokhim-Stal (Alchevsk) - "Mavpa-Rjativnyk" 104 - 90

On the 5th of May Cherkaser team of major league “Mavpa-Rjativnyk” played away game with the team from Alchevsk “Koksokhim-Stal”. “Rjativnyky” came to Alchevsk with the experimental squad of the team, it’s connected with the reason that the main squad takes part in the Ukrainian championship among young teams of 1990 year between the 4th and the 9th of May.
  Kozlovets, Stelmashenko, Lykho, “Panasjuk, Parkhomenko, Petrenko and Khalabuda defended Cherkasy in the match against the team from Alchevsk. As the head coach of “Rjativnyky” Anatoliy Fedorenko commented, Cherkaser played the game in such squad for the first time. Thus in spite of defeat, the young team coped with the strong rival “Koksokhim” and made them nervous in the second half, which Cherkaser could win.
Anatoliy Fedorenko (head coach of “Mavpa-Rjativnyk"): "I waited for this game with great anxiety, because we should cope with the game against strong, ambitious rival. The team from Alchevsk put the aim to come out for the next season to super league and for today it’s a strong, stable, and good formed collective. The positive moment of this game is that I noticed the tendency during the last four matches of the team to win the second half, in the first one the team looks like bewildered, because that our players are actually children. I think we managed reaching the main aim – making selection of the best and effective young players, which will be the basis of the team next season".
