"Marelj-Cherkasy" finished the season on the fifth place

On the 24^th вЂ“ 25^th April there were hold the matches of the women Western league, in which the fate of the first places was decided.
Cherkaser team "Marelj-Cherkasy" spent in Ivano-Frankivsk two decisive matches with the team BC В«Frankivsk-PNUВ», after which the winner comes out to the Final Four. В«MareljВ» struggled desperate in the first half of the match, won two quarters, the strong rival and the factor of the strange court had a bad impact. В«Marelj CherkasyВ» lost the both matches and finished the season on the fifth place of the tournament schedule of the Western league.

This season we played only 14 matches in the Western league. Thus we took the place in play-off games, we lack only of one victory to get to the Final FourВ».
The guidance gave the task to the Cherkaser women team to come out to the Final Four of the Western league, for coming into the major league. We hope that В«Marelj-CherkasyВ» will be the basis for the development of the women basketball in Cherkasy.
