"Norcheping" (Sweden) - "Dnipro" (Ukraine) 78:77 (36:23, 16:22, 18:19, 8:13)

As from the beginning of the first away meeting in Icelandic Keflafik, the debut of the match with “Norcheping” wasn’t a success for “Dnipro”, even the string from the round by Volodymyr Kovalj. During one minute Swedenthanks to the scores of Mroz, Stribling and Bergstrem got 7 points. But, the players from Dnipropetrovsk answered with the kicking from the 6-meter line by Denis Ivanov and with one of his apt kick from the penalty line, after that the score was leveled – 7:7. But this exemplary equality was kept only till the middle of the quarter, and then the Sweden made the jerk with the efforts of Stribling, Bergstrem and Shalaj – 8:0. In this moment the masters had 3-pointers, and they went for the first break with the 13-points advantage – 36:23.

“Dnipro”, made all efforts to overtake the opponent, but the Dnipropetrover did it, thank’s to the efforts of Ivanov and the Lithuanians Lideck and Zavazkas, in the 3d quarter – 54:54 on the 23-d minute. However, Plejsk kicked from the further line – 57:54, and till the last break – the advantage of “Norcheping” was 6 points – 70:64.

The final ten minutes began from the competition of the opponents in skills to kick from the round (in “Dnipro” Zozulja and Zavackas, and in “Norcheping” Grundberg), after that the advantage of the Sweden assembled only three points – 73:70. After that Dinpropetrover made their game better in the defence and thanks to the score made by Ivanov to get to the Sweden nearer – 76:77 in two minutes till the end of the match. Then Shalaj and Zavaskas kicked each one penalty.
