Victory of Cherkaski Mavpi

“Cherkaski Mavpy” got the assured victory in the second group score against icelandic club “Njardvik” with the score 114:73.
It was hardly to give prognoses concerning the results of the match, in comparison with the first game in Iceland which ended with the minimum advantage of “Cherkaski Mavpy” – 98:96.
In spite of that the masters of the playing court was acquainted with the play of “Njardvik”, the first quarter ended with small advantage 24:21.
The debut of the game was lead with the full advantage of “Mavpy” which they won with the score 12:0 and increased their advantage to 15 points – 36:21. Especially successful was the game of the player Arnas Kazlauskas of “Mavpy”, which got during 4 minutes 10 points for his team.
Icelandic team played failure in defense. The absence of the player Brenton Birmingam was felt in the complement of the team “Njardvik”, who can defense and attack effective.
After effective second quarter with the score 31:30 in the next round “Mavpy” allowed the opponent to cut down the difference. The guests were remembered in this quarter with the activity and effective playing of Fridrich Stefansson (11 points) and Jeb Ivey (6 points).
