On the 20th of April Cherkaser basketball team of major league “Mavpa-Rjativnyk” spent the second round of the championship, in which the competition is developed around the places 11-18. Cherkaser met with the leader of their group Mariupoler team of major league “Azovmash-2”.
We remind that the basis of the team consists of the players of “Fortecja-90”, the team which won one day before the match won silver in UYBL among the boys of 1990 year in Mariupil. The players came out on the court very tired, and in spite of the support by Parkhomenko, Temrjakovych and Khalabuda, the team of Cherkaser couldn’t bring the victory home. The game between “Mavpa-Rjativnyk” and BC “Azovmash-2” finished with the following score 82:52.
