Today took place the third tour of Student’s league of Cherkasy among higher educational institutions of the 1st and 2nd level of accreditation. In the sport hall of collegiums “Beregynja” played such teams as CMC (Cherkaser medical college), CATC (Cherkaser artistic-technical college), CMC (Cherkaser medical college) and the team "Beregynja".
On today’s stage of competitions the team of CSBC (Cherkaser state business college), which have to play with CPTC (Cherkaser polytechnic technical college) got technical defeat.
The results of the third tour of the Student’s league:
The game was very interesting. During the first two quarters the difference in the score between the teams was not more than 5 points, for the benefit of "doctors", or for the benefit of the pupils of “Beregynja”. But in the last 10 minutes the team of Anatoliy Pylypjuk increased the score for his benefit.
Anatoliy Pylypjuk (coach of “Beregynja”): "In this game the team fulfilled my instructions,and that’s why got 100 % result".
Trubenko Oleksandr (coach of CMC): "We expected victory. But in spite of results such competitions are very useful for the team. Here on the court the mistakes are obvious. During the training the boys get used to one another, and on such competitions they can see other players".
Because of Cherkaser state business college teams absent on the competitions “Beregynja” organized his second match. The physical tiredness of the collegiums was the reason of the lagging behind from the rival. The advantage of his own court didn’t help to win the match.
Magljonyj Mykola (coach of CASC): "The rival was very tired, and it was appreciable. It wa shard to wait for fight. I’m fully satisfied with my team."
Anatoliy Pylypjuk (coach of “Beregynja”): "I think that the difference in age and height played great role in our defeat. In the second game we have lower percent of scoring goals.”
The final of the Student’s league takes place on the 26th of December. We remind that the competitions are organized by the round system. The teams which will take the 1st and 2nd places in their group (CASC and CPTC), will fight for the first place in the final. “Beregynja” and CMC will play a game on the 26th of December for the third and fourth places.
