Rolandas Jarutis leaves the team “Cherkaski Mavpy” nearly for half year

As the doctors told, Jarutis needs nearly half year break after operation, before he continues to play.   Now the team “Mavpy” lacks of forward. As the administration of the club reported new players will come this Friday to Kyjiv, namely Edmunds Valeiko (Latvia) and Kaniel Dickens (USA). We mention that Edmunds Valeiko played earlier for such basketball clubs: 1989–1991 – ASK (Latvia), 1991–1992 – VEF (Latvia), 1992–1996 – «Broceni» (Latvia), 1996–1997 – «Baltika» (Latvia), 1997–1999 – «Ventspils» (Latvia), 1999–2000 – «Bobry Bitom» (Polen), 2000–2001 – «Lainers» (Latvia), «Rakvere» (Estonia), 2001–2002 – «Skonto» (Latvia), 2002–2003 – BK «Kyjiv», 2003–2004 – MBK «Odesa». After conquest of the champion title of Ukraine in 2005, the Latvian defended the colors of irenic “Mahram”, and then he went to "Barons/LU", together with which he won silver in the championship of Latvia.   Kaniel Dickens has very interesting sport carrier: American began to play as professional from the college, then for junior and senior seasons playing seasons Kanile went to University Idaho, played seven games for “Ural” in Russia. 2001-02 spent in the clubs “Fajetevite” and “Mobile”, 2002-03 played in China, 2003-04 lead three games with "Portland Traiblazers", 29 ігор за "Дакоту Візардс". In 2006-06 Dickens played for “Los-Angeles Klipers”, “New-Jersy Nets” and “Atlanta Howks”. We hope, that we’ll see soon the play of new legionnaires in the complement of our team.
